

I must admit, after having what the Wall Street Journal deemed the worst job in the nation of 2013 (worse than lumberjack and dairy farmer) — it does feel nice to get a little back. Journalism is not something you do for the money… Last night, I attended the Garden State Journalism Association’s awards dinner at Chart House in Weehawken. I scooped up two awards for investigative journalism. Check it out
I was still buzzing from last night, when I just found out that I took second place in the NJ Society of Professional Journalists contest today – for review writing. This means a lot to me because I truly want to steal Peter Travers’ job at Rolling Stone magazine one day.
